Day 23/365 — Always Prepared

“Death never takes the wise man by surprise, he is always ready to go.”

After these 23 days, if you’ve been consistent, you’ll be more prepared to die.

While that may sound terrible initially, it is what we all should aim at.

This doesn’t mean that you want it to happen, obviously, but instead, that you recognize it will happen, as such, you do what you must before the final day arrives.

You say what you want, you do what you have to, you cherish those you love, and above all, you leave no unfinished business behind you.

You live with meaning, rejecting comfort for growth, short-term pleasure for long-term purpose.

Stay on this path and you’ll be able to sleep soundly every night.

You’ll have given it your all

1. Describe the man you’d like to be remembered by. Be as detailed as you can (How you acted in your job, how you treated others, how you spent your time, etc.)
2. What is currently missing from your day/life to live as this person you described?
3. Why haven’t you begun doing it yet?
4. When can you begin?
5. Schedule it into your day.
