Day 22/365 — Live

Death is inevitable. It’s a fact that we all have to face eventually. But what’s more frightening than death itself is not truly living while we’re still alive.

Living a life that is unfulfilled, unchallenged, and unremarkable is a fate far worse than death. We all have a limited amount of time on this earth, and if we don’t make the most of it, we’re doing ourselves a disservice.

It’s easy to get caught up in the mundane aspects of life, going through the motions day in and day out.

But that’s not really living.

Living is about taking risks, pursuing our passions, and embracing the unknown.

We all have unique talents, interests, and desires, and it’s our responsibility to explore those aspects of ourselves and make the most of them.

We owe it to ourselves to live a life that is full of purpose and meaning.

In the end, it’s not the quantity of days we have on this earth that matters. It’s the quality of those days. We should strive to live each day to the fullest, never taking a single moment for granted.

Remembering our mortality through the concept of memento mori can be a powerful reminder to live fully in the present moment, to embrace our passions, and to make the most of the time we have left.

So, let’s not be afraid of death. Let’s be afraid of not truly living while we’re still alive.

Let’s seize the day, pursue our dreams, and live our lives to the fullest.

Because in the end, that’s all that really matters.

  1. What could you do to live life more fully? (Write both for the short-term and long-term)
  2. Why have you not started yet?
  3. When will you begin doing all of these habits?

Farewell and best of luck.
