Day 19 — The Meaning of Life

The meaning of life is a question that has confounded the greatest thinkers and scholars for centuries.

Some suggest that the meaning of life is to find happiness, others believe it’s to fulfill a grand purpose, and still, others believe that life simply exists

Yet, the words of the writer Franz Kafka speak volumes:

“The meaning of life is that it stops.”

These words remind us that life is finite and fleeting.

That our time on this earth is limited.

It’s a sobering thought, one that should motivate us to make the most of the time we have.

We must ask ourselves if we are living in a way that aligns with our values and brings us fulfillment.

Are you making the most of each moment or wasting your time on frivolous pursuits?

Acknowledging the impermanence of life should inspire you to pursue the things that matter most with greater focus and determination.

By accepting that life is fleeting and using that knowledge to live with intention and purpose, you can make the most of the time you have and find fulfillment in your brief but valuable existence.

Today, don’t write.

Instead, go outside and find a place you feel at peace.

It could be a park, a garden, or a coffee shop. What matters is that you feel fantastic there.

When you’re there, close your eyes and focus on this feeling, really dive deep into how good it is to experience it.

When you’re done, bring awareness to the fact that one day, you won’t be able to experience this anymore.

Next time you’re having a beautiful time, remember to be present.

One day it will all be gone.

Farewell and best of luck.
