Memento Mori Journal #15
Day 15 — Battle
Life is a battle.
A fight against time.
We strive to make our mark,
To leave a legacy.
But in our pursuit of success,
We often forget the truth.
Death is a part of life.
Inevitable and unavoidable.
We are all marching toward our end,
And in this march, we learn.
We learn to live, and we learn to die.
To face mortality is a challenge.
But it can also be a source of strength.
When we accept death,
We live life with purpose.
We cherish each moment,
And make the most of our time.
We must remember,
Death is not something to be feared.
It is a natural part of life.
A reminder to live life fully.
To love deeply,
And to leave a lasting impact.
So let us embrace the reality of death,
And face each day with courage.
For we are not just learning how to live,
We are learning how to die.
- Reflect on a time when you faced your own mortality. What were your thoughts and emotions during that moment?
- How has the idea of death influenced your priorities and values in life?
- Think about a fear or insecurity you have related to death. How have you faced or coped with it?
- Consider a moment in your life when you felt truly alive. How can you cultivate more of those experiences in your life?
- What legacy do you want to leave behind after you die? How can you start working towards that legacy now?
Farewell and best of luck.
