Day 13 — Fulfill The Day

Think about the best days you’ve had.

The ones where you are with people you love, enjoying nature, exercising, and working on a meaningful task.

At the end of these days, I’m sure you have a few in mind, sleep feels earned.

You lie tired but fulfilled. Peaceful resting.

The same goes for life as a whole.

To have a proper end to it, you must fulfill it, otherwise, just like a day that feels wasted, you’ll feel regret and emptiness.

The sad part is that you cannot fulfill the time that has already passed. Whatever mistakes you made are there forever.

The good part though is that you still have time left.

You can still fill your days with purposeful work, meaningful relationships, and training of your body.

Today is not too late, tomorrow might be.

“As a well-spent day brings happy sleep, so life well used brings happy death.” — Leonardo da Vinci

Question to journal on:

  1. What does your perfect “work” day look like? (Monday to Friday)
  2. What does your perfect rest day/s look like? (Weekend)
  3. What do you currently do instead? (For both)
  4. Out of all the meaningful things you don’t currently do, which would bring the most benefits if you started doing them?
  5. Schedule this. There’s no time to delay

Farewell and best of luck.
