Do you choose what was right, or what was easy?

It can be tempting to take the easy road, to choose the path of least resistance. But often, what is easy is not what is right. Doing what is right may require more effort, more time, and more sacrifice, but it is ultimately more fulfilling.

In the face of difficult decisions, it is important to remember that our choices define who we are. Our character is not shaped by what we find easy, but by what we choose to do in the face of adversity.

In the end, doing what is right means living with integrity and honor, even if it comes at a cost. It means standing up for our values and beliefs, even if it means going against the tide. It means taking responsibility for our actions and making amends when we fall short.

And as we face our own mortality, we can take comfort in knowing that we have lived a life of purpose and meaning, that we have done what is right rather than what is easy.

In the end, our legacy is not measured by what we have accomplished, but by the integrity of our character and the impact we have had on others.

  1. Think of a time when you were faced with a difficult decision. Did you choose what was right, or what was easy? How did it make you feel?
  2. What values or beliefs are most important to you? How do you ensure that your actions align with these values and beliefs?
  3. Imagine yourself on your deathbed, looking back on your life. What would you want to be able to say about the choices you made and the person you were?

Farewell and best of luck.
