Day 6 – There is only “Now”

We must have a plan.

A route we’re aiming to travel.

A destination, and the map to get there…

But we mustn’t obsess over this.

The man who “tunnel visions” on his plans, always looking for a time/place in the future where happiness will finally be granted to him, is sure to collect a bag full of regrets.

While these are crucial to have, they are not everything.

99% of our time is spent climbing the mountain, not on celebrating reaching the peak.

Because of this, you must learn to enjoy each and every single moment. Good and bad alike.

I hate to put it in such extreme terms, however:

You could die at any moment.

As you read this, your heart could stop, and that would be it.

You could walk outside and get run over my a drunk driver.

Death could be waiting for you. As such, keep pushing and fulfilling your future, keep giving it your all to walk the road towards your goals, but as you do so, make sure to enjoy the ride.

You only get to do it once.

There is only going to be one question for today. Make it detailed, and more importantly, make sure it is true.

Remember, you only live once. Don’t forget to be grateful while you can.

Question to journal on:

What are you grateful for at this very moment?

Take this gratitude and enjoy your day, the good and bad.

Farewell and best of luck.
