Day 4 — A Look Into The Future

“The unexamined life is not worth living” — Socrates

We must never forget what our main advantage as human beings is.

It’s not strength, endurance, agility, or any other in the physical realm.

No, our ultimate power lies in the mind.

We are the only species capable of being self-conscious. With the ability to think about what we do, why we do it, and what we will do next.

It’s funny to me then, how so many people never use this advantage.

They lead lives on “auto-pilot”, going from one urge to the next, never taking control of their future.

Almost like a man that can read, but never does so.

To fulfill your time, you must use this power.

By simply being aware of yourself and how you act, change inevitably happens. You’ll soon realize where you’re lacking, what you’re not happy with, and most importantly, the true path you wish to follow.

Look inwards to change outwards.

The purpose of today’s journaling will be to become aware of the main areas of your life, and how happy/unhappy you are with them.

The more detail you go into, the more awareness you’ll create towards changing.

The more awareness exists, the more motivated you’ll be to act.

Don’t overlook this.

Questions To Journal On:

Career:

  1. How is your current career situation?
  2. Do you wish it was different? How so?
  3. In the ideal world, what would you be doing professionally? Why?

Fitness:

  1. How is your current fitness/health situation?
  2. Do you wish it was different? How so?
  3. In the ideal world, what would your physique/health be? Why si this important to you?

Relationships:

  1. How are your current family relationships? And romantic one(s)?
  2. Do you wish things were different? How so?
  3. In the ideal world, what do they look like? Why like this?

Farewell and best of luck.
